As you know, we believe that trips and visitors into school hugely enrich children’s education and add to their enjoyment of school. The excited faces of children as they line up to get on a bus is evidence of how much they look forward to these experiences.
In order to support these, and to help families with the additional costs they can bring, we have had a system in place for several years where we ask for an annual contribution and guarantee to spend more than this on each child. This means families can spread out the cost or talk to us about any pressures this cost brings. We aim never to cancel a trip or for any child to miss them.
The cost of this annual contribution is £25. As in previous years, this payment can be spread across the year or paid up front. Please pay the whole amount or start paying installments via School Money by Thursday 24th October 2024.
If you choose not to pay this contribution, we will ask for a contribution for each individual event. If there is any difficulty in paying this, please speak to us. As we say, our aim is that no child will miss out on any of these important events.
Please be aware that the residential trips in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 are separate to this contribution.
